I’m proud to be a Midwest girl with a farm family heritage. When not writing, I’m contemplating a world run by dogs, if I should admit I prefer ketchup on my Chicago style hot dog and why I believe orbs are ghosts. My kids are furry and four legged, my better half really is my better half, and while I’ll always “be from Chicago” I truly love our adopted home, Florida.
Humor is a must – learning is a joy – travel is a blessing – my heart, mind and soul are loyal and true and I love salty sea air in my lungs.
Rori is a PhD student in Media Psychology, has a background in theatre, and cannot leap buildings in a single bound.

Rori and partner, Laura, are traveling Florida to share their adventures, experiences, recommendations and ideas so that your next Florida vacation or getaway can be the best ever.
Laura is an integral part of the Rori Travels Florida team. Her technical talents, fourteen arms, and photo and video skills keep us going. Perhaps it was playing in the band, taking care of furry kids or roller-blading, but she’s always on the go. Laura keeps Rori Travels Florida, Enjoy Florida’s Coast and Rori Travel Media Group on track. Director of Everything Rori doesn’t do, Laura makes life and travel more fun.
Laura has earned her MBA in business (like there is another place to have an MBA) and admits to sleeping in the car.
