Key Largo Chocolates; Tasty treat in God’s country

I’d first learned of Key Largo Chocolates shortly before our trip to the Florida Keys and Key West. Spotting them on Twitter, I had to take a look, first online, then in person. We told ‘em we were heading down and if we could, would stop by. As we entered the Keys, Key Largo in particular, I spotted it on the right, first store in a strip mall, its colorful presence grabbing my attention half a football field away!
We stopped in on our final day, the final day and a half being spent in Key Largo, and found everything we hoped and more. They have a factory onsite with a large store at its front. Stop in for ice cream, or more importantly, the chocolate for which they should become enormously famous.
We snatched up a couple treats, my favorite chocolate covered OREOs and Laura a few flavor-filled chocolates. One of Laura’s was a sea-salt one, something she said was alright, but not her cup of chocolate. As in all things food, we will tell you our opinions and experiences, but one should always consider that people have different tastes. Laura wasn’t one to enjoy this piece as much, but she did say it was flavor-filled.
Overall we were greatly pleased with the results, careful to enjoy every tasty bite and looking forward to a return. In fact, it would be somewhere we’d stop on our way in, and maybe on our way out as well…

The store is in a strip mall on your right as you’re heading South.
Stop for a treat, including ice cream, and don’t forget, you can stop going in or coming out.
One thing I always find charming is the local touch

We grabbed up something fun and enjoyed to the fullest…
But first we had to fight off our little Stitch…
