No question that one of the the first thoughts most people have of Savannah is – it’s haunted. From the movie, Midnight in the Garden of Good & Evil, that puts spirits and spooky on the Savannah map to the stories many share of haunted bars, restaurants, hotels and houses, this is a city on the forefront of shadows & spooks running amuck day and night.
I recently learned that Savannah partakes heartily in the use of Haint Blue for decorating – a way to keep the restless spirits – haints – at bay. So what’s a city to do when haints are all around, haint blue is a favorite decorating element, and you’re looking for a little fun?
Embrace the mood – invite the spirits – haunt your tours – and celebrate your quirky haunted side.
