Our trip to the Florida Keys and Key West was wonderful, a dream come true, all we’d hoped and expected, and more. In planning where we would stay and in having been a tweep and promoter of the Westin Key West for two years on Facebook and Twitter and right here on the blog, it only made sense that we try and stay there for our vacation. So it was arranged and as their guests, we discovered that all was as it should be, we found paradise, we found the heart of the Key West bustle and the peaceful joy of our wonderful room. This is the Westin Key West. While there are many excellent choices throughout Key West, might I suggest that you consider the Westin… for the heart of it all and the peace of paradise. Like when you wake up and someone has put a building there!
Each day, except when canceled by Tropical Storms, cruise ships
moor outside your room. The view becomes one of watching tourists
come and go, but no worries… by 4pm the ships are heading out and you’re
view returns to the sea… and sunset!
The Westin Key West is a great and beautiful spot for a wedding.
We watched this young couple takes photos on their special day.
We even called out and wished the congratulations.
What a lovely setting to start your life together…
Dining is available at a number of spots around town and around the Westin Key West
resort. For our dinner we chose to enjoy a quiet evening in,
Jake resting and us enjoying the peace…
And amazingly delicious meal.
Ok, so the waiter first forgot one of our entrees, but
when it arrived… yum!
It was a great evening…
Sorry, I didn’t get breakfast photos as well, also
room service, I was too busy running back and forth
outside to take photos and watch the Carnival Cruise
ship in port… oh the joys we experienced!
