Vintageland opens a world of new treasures in Mount Dora, Florida

Vintageland is the latest offering of fun shopping and unique items in Mount Dora, Florida Photo Rori Paul
Not another land in the magical wonder that is Walt Disney World, but rather a land of antiquing fun, where those who are into re-purposed shopping and found treasures will feel like they’re at WDW having the fun of discovery… perhaps then, “Discoveryland?”
Vintageland has opened in Mount Dora, home to small town shopping, and with this newest addition, another opportunity to shop til you drop and discover that treasure you’re itching to add to your home or garden.
This charming shop occupies a home along Donnelly, the lead-in street to this Central Florida town, where the owners, Pattie and Anne, offer up a treasure trove of options. Featuring local artists, antiquers and those who can find charm in items others discard, this is a place where you’re going to linger over that find, and wonder where it’ll fit, then make it fit no matter what. From homespun to western, from kitchy to warm and cozy, you’re likely to find something here.
Stop by and take a look at the changing inventory. Also, linger on a weekend day, sitting outside in this peaceful setting over a beverage. Often there is live music, but as often, a lovely day to just chill and enjoy the setting.
** Items change so those found in these photos may not be available when you arrive. New items are arriving all the time. All photos are taken by and copyright Rori Paul, with contents copyright their owners.
Linger in the garden area for a peaceful day in Central Florida – and shopping.
Items range from beautiful outfits, new and vintage,
to home decor.
Things like this comfy chair can be re-purposed on your
front porch for those summer evenings.
There is something so charming about this setting,
where a home re-purposed as a store, feels so much
like a home, you feel like you’re walking through
someone’s home searching for something to take… home.
Fun and fanciful, these shirts are
one of the “new” items you’re going to find here!
One of my favorite rooms is the front room
where you have a wide and open view of the front yard, with
fun items that will cause you to smile.
Yesterday’s treasures find a new life and world of joy at Vintageland.
