Enjoy Florida's Coast

Julianne’s Coastal Cottage brings coastal, Key West flavor to Mount Dora

Many have made the comparison; Key West and Mount Dora. One is surrounded by water, the other only along one edge, but both have that hip, trendy, fun island, small town flare. Key West takes pride in its originality, well earned and worn on its collective sleeve like that crazy uncle everyone knows is quirk, but adores more for it. Mount Dora is a bit more reserved (though many are working to change that ever so slightly), but remains a waterfront town with the charm of island life and laid-back smiling at you hospitality.

Smack dab in the heart of Mount Dora comes one more reminder that these two go hand-in-hand; Julianne’s Coastal Cottage.

Set along picturesque 4th Street and only about 2 blocks from Lake Dora, Julianne’s is a shop one would expect in Key West. Here you’ll find the Key Lime treats that make the islands south world famous. You’ll come across beach sand in a pail and most any kind of souvenir to remind you of your love of the water and beaches.

Cozy and whimsical also adores the walls, from a wreath of shells to the A-Z’s in playful beachy scenes, this is a place to enhance and elongate your coastal passions.

Some things scream Key West, others strictly Mount Dora (like the mini surf board with the Mount Dora lighthouse) and so much in between.

Florida is a unique and special place, with so much of its own, from town to town, region to region, and coast to coast to coast. But here at Julianne’s you’ll find all the things you need to tap into whatever part of the coastal state you’re looking for. Grab up the very nice and classy picnic kits and enjoy wine and cheese shore-side in style. How about a bottle of Florida wine or a mixer that screams Kenny and Jimmy and its 5 o’clock here?

Stop in town and look around, but do find your way to Julianne’s for something to remember all things Florida, Key West and Mount Dora… three in one!

Key West’s favorite, Key Lime is on tap here – you MUST try the chocolate
covered Key Lime Pie.

We love these picnic containers – not so much a basket
as a great, colorful, classy tote to make your time on the beach special.

Mount Dora is known as “Some place special”
and you can bring a little of that home with this mini surfboard with a
picture of the Mount Dora lighthouse.

Bring home the beach and let the feeling last year round.

We love these coastal themed napkin rings

If you can’t make the coast or don’t find the shells you hoped,
grab some up here. If you’re planning on exploring the coast, grab a copy
of the Shells of Florida to help you identify what you find.

Love this A-Z of the ocean. Fun way to show off your coastal passion
or teach the young ones their ABC’s

This wreath is a beautiful and classy way to
enhance your home (near water or not) with your
passion for the coast!
