Epcot’s Flower & Gardent Festival returns with playful Disney character topiary
As always, those wonderful characters of Disney return to the 2012 Epcot Flower and Garden Festival in all their fanciful glory. The 2012 version sets up the scene the best we’ve seen since we first started attending 3 years ago, with stages as perfectly executed as any on Broadway. The placement of most of this years Mickey and friends plays off the setting perfectly, making it a joy to walk through the park and take note. Photos come out better with nice backgrounds, but the stage itself, usually with the most colorful compliments, makes this a pleasure to enjoy.

Only Lady and the Tramp seem stuck in a rut as those lovey dovey pups return below the same stairway to heaven in Italy. Hoping next year a move deeper in or across the promenade gives them a new twist on their love, but this year seems the same as last, and the year before. At least the pups remain blissfully happy together.
All in all this year’s Flower and Garden Festival is a triumph. Though lacking something in the Festival Center with too little to enjoy – previous years had farmers and such on hand, but unable to sell anything likely kept them away – the rest of the event is a true delight. Bambi and friends return to play in the always popular

are all a playful delight in England.
One day her prince did come, or so it goes for Sleeping Beauty
and…
… Cinderella. They too return to these spots from last year,
but as a royal greeting to France, it still works. Hoping next year they too
make a move for other dancing grounds.
