Bahama Breeze; Small plates & skinny cocktails are a delight
Bahama Breeze has been working to create a fresh new flavor among its restaurants, opening new venues with newly designed kitchens that allow them to bring to the table a slew of tasty treats. We were invited to the table to give them a try and found their small plates and skinny cocktails to be something worthy your consideration.
(please see our disclaimer page)
Here are a few samples of the tasty delights that await. Please visit our other article about Bahama Breeze as well, and if you’re looking for a tempting place to enjoy, try a Bahama Breeze. The one we enjoyed locally was in Kissimee, near the Walt Disney World Resort main entrance off World Drive, on 192 at Tollroad 429.
Bahama Breeze offers up small plates and skinny cocktails
that are a tasty delight. Other cocktails and
dinner items (not to mention dessert) rounded off our
delicious evening.
Conch Fritters are yummy and while not on the small plates
menu, they are on the appetizer one. The dips only
made them yummy!
We tried a few of the skinny cocktails
and I can’t tell you which we liked most -
there were a couple.
We also enjoyed the Bahamarita.
I’m a so-so fan of Mexican or Latin foods (often
too spicy for me, so I tend to favor Tex-Mex, but
these empinadas were very tasty.
The fun thing we discovered about Bahama Breeze -
dips only add to the flavors! Don’t be afraid to
go with and without dips for your treats.
The chips and dip here are very good.
We’d been recommended by a friend to have them and they
did not at all disappoint!
We actually found the salsa to be as fresh as
if they’d walked through a garden out back and
picked things right before making it.
That said (and DO try this dish!), the
plantains actually made this even more memorable.
We’d recently had truffle fries at another area restaurant and
came away very disappointed.
Having the truffle fries at Bahama Breeze was exactly what we’d hoped -
very good. In fact, I had more without dip that with, but
again, this dip was tasty and a delight.
The Bahamarita is not on the skinny list,
but very tasty and a great way to give your
evening a kick.
If you’re looking for a place to get the weekend off
