Give Me 5; My Favorite Florida Photos
I love photography and I love Florida, so living here is a treat. I get the chance to see the beautiful parts of this amazing state, from the beaches to the theme parks, the attractions to the many places of natural beauty. Here then are just 5 photos – of the many – that show off the beauty of the Sunshine State.
All photos are copyright Rori Paul or shared copyright with the location or company.
I love lighthouses and beaches and the Boca Grande area offers them
wonderfully together. Be it from the beach or the grassy area
at the transition zone, the lighthouse at sunset offers a lovely
photo setting. This is a beautiful area and should be enjoyed day or night.
I just love this photo.
I captured it in the entry area of Fantasy of Flight,
the private attraction and collection of planes
in Polk City, halfway between Orlando and Tampa.
The set up was perfect, showing off the
location and the dreams into which you’re going
to fly… dreaming away…
LEGOLAND Florida has returned to Florida
the once iconic beauty, Cypress Gardens.
With the gazebo, garden pathways and banyan
tree in tact, one can relive memories while taking in
the beauty that remains, washed anew.
Racing and Florida go hand-in-hand.
From Daytona to Sebring, Mazda to Chevy, racing
has been at the heart of Florida’s draw for
generations. Here is where records are
set, dreams are made, memories created,
and legends walk. Jimmy Johnson is just one of
the men who’ve made racing in Florida special.
I love this photo for two reasons: We love Tarpon Springs,
the historic Greek town along the Gulf coast, for its
food, history, and setting. But also the people.
One of the wonderful things about Florida and one of
the reasons we love it here most: the people.
This Tarpon Springs local portrays the
generations of sponge divers who made Tarpon Springs
famous, and was not only happy to pose, but
his smile says it all…
