The Intimidator. Rowdy. Jr. Smoke. The King. The names are as linked to NASCAR as peanut is to butter, winning is to loosing, Jimmy Johnson is to championships. NASCAR is all about the action, the octane, and the icons. Men still out number the ladies on teams and in the stands, but with the debut of Danica at a higher level, maybe that’ll change just a bit, and for those who dream about their face on the front of NASCAR.com or number on their car that means they’re a contender, NASCAR can be about dreams coming true.
The King himself, Richard Petty, has brought NASCAR home, making it within reach of mere mortals, a possible rush of the rush. I’ve had the great pleasure of giving my need for speed a run for its money at Richard Petty’s Driving Experience at Walt Disney World, and you can too as every day everyday people take to the track for a ride-along 3 laps or go-bolder on their own merits and try things on for size like the big boys.
Richard Petty has now taken the concept of Fantasy Camp and removed it from the baseball fields and football fields bringing it to the track. Even better, he’s bringing this concept of every-man-on-the-track to Florida.
Not just one track, but three really awesome, really important tracks in the world of racing.
For 12 lucky and money-endowed NASCAR fans, Richard Petty Driving Experience is getting real at their Fantasy Racing Camp FLORIDA. From October 31 – November 2, 2011 those 12 lucky bucks with the bucks will get training, track time, and face-to-face with some of racing’s best.
The King himself, Christian Fittipaldi, Dale Inman, Randy LaJoie, and Kyle Petty will be training these couch warriors to leave that comfort of the living room and choose a seat in a NASCAR stockcar ride.

Orlando Speedworld, Walt Disney World Speedway, and the granddaddy of them all, Daytona International Speedway will host these wanna-be’s with the most for the kind of racing that Danica, Dale, and Tony know all about.
Earning point – like the pros – and an awards dinner will be included in the $10,000 price tag, along with accommodations, and time with the legends.
