It was about a year and a half ago that I’d first heard of the Disney Food Blog. A tasty treat with all the information you could ever dream of about food-Disney-snacks-treats-Wine&Food-all-things-Disney-food. Get the point?
Through fellow bloggers – mostly Disney ones – I finally met AJ, the totally cool and professional brains behind this delectable and fat-free treat.
Ok, so Disney food isn’t exactly fat-free, but I pretend it is and that’s all that counts!
Exchanging emails and tweets led to a face-to-face meeting at last year’s Disney Food Blog meetup, part of the Disney Food Blog‘s Epcot International Wine & Food Festival’s open week adventure. In town for research – which whenever you’re into food has to do with food – AJ was out to meet & greet her growing throng of fans and I was thrilled to be among them.
Without question, when Ben and I were talking guests for the Florida Travel Cocktail I knew AJ was on the must-talk-to list.
There are plenty of people in the world who “Get” the Disney Food thing. Visit once and you’re likely to “get it” too. That said, for those of you who’ve not yet been, or who don’t get it, well… I’m sorry… Disney Food is its own food group!
So we did our Skype call interview tonight – totally fun talking with AJ and totally fun getting amped about the upcoming Wine & Food (as we call it).

You’ve also GOT to get yourself to Wine & Food Fest. Last year was our first time and I was blown away by just how much I loved it. Had no idea what-so-ever that I’d love food from South Korea, South Africa or, wait for it, escargot! Dude! Food!
So, this episode was a lot of fun and I’m totally hungry, so I’m off to get some food… (too bad its not WDW) check out my interview with AJ (Ben was on vacation) and whatever you do… get thee to Disney for food! (Oh, and you can get cookbooks too with recipes from Disney if you can’t make it to the parks)!
