It’s like God and Mother Nature looked down and said, “let’s make Florida where we camp and RV and have fun.” From Camping World to RV rentals, from National, County and State parks to amazing stretches of beach, from beautiful settings to NASCAR, Florida and Camping/RVing go together.
Here then are 5 resources to help you plan a Florida camping and/or RV vacation:
Camp Florida. www.CampFlorida.com. I heard about it on Visit Florida and ordered a hard copy of their Camp Florida Official Guide. If you are coming to Florida with the intent of camping this catalog of locations with amenities will make your life way easier. Get the hard copy for keeping on hand and check out the matching website to get you going.
Camping World. One of if not the largest Camping and RV supply store, Camping World’s are all over, including in Florida. The Kissimmee area, near Walt Disney World, has one we’ve stopped at to find plenty on hand for many outdoor-camping needs. Camping World can help with supplies, RV rentals, service and more.
National Parks Florida, State Parks Florida, County Parks Florida. Florida is known for its diverse eco systems, beauty and plenty to do with it all. There are a range of

parks within the state, controlled by National, State and County governments and offering so many locales, things to do, places to be and outdoors to see you’re likely to need a lifetime to enjoy them all.
