30 Days & 30 Ways to Enjoy Florida; Day 25, Resorts, Inns, B&Bs, Cottages

Since our first family visit in 1971, the Polynsian Resort at Walt Disney World has been our family's favorite WDW resort. Always our first choice, even when we're not staying there, we love to visit, enjoy a couple hours walking around, just being there... Photo by Rori Paul
Florida is a favorite vacation destination because of all the things to do, but what about where to stay? From mom and pops to B&B’s, Inns and cottages to mega resorts, where you stay is as much a part of the Florida experience as what you do.
Living here, we don’t spend a lot of nights in these rooms – we’ve got our own – but we have the privilege of getting to see many, tour them, visit these places and enjoy what you’re going to enjoy – other than the night’s sleep.
And for the record – we have a few places offering us free nights to check them out, and as we can we will start to do that so we can bring you that information.
And we’re looking forward to experiencing the hotels of Florida – because it is part of the Florida experience. We’re looking forward to more offers of stays… and more we just find… so stay tuned…
We also talk to people we know who stay, who are visiting and who are willing to share their suggestions for great places to stay.
And yes… we even have a few that are owned by some great people we know…
In the mean time… here are some of the places we have stayed, want to stay, have rooms waiting… and have heard are great.
And as we can… we will start to report on this information…
Sleep tight… and have fun here…
