Enjoy Florida's Coast

30 Days & 30 Ways to Enjoy Florida; Day 30, My Favorite Things

I love this photo: my nephew - 4 at the time - took this photo of me at Walt Disney World. One of the best ways to experience Florida is through the eyes of a child. And to be child-like yourself. Photo copyright Rori Paul.

I love Florida. From our first family vacation here when I was four years old to Walt Disney World, all the way through today when I live here, experiencing the wonderful things to do here, all the beautiful places to see, I love this state. The weather, the people, the wild places, the tamed places, the themed places, the wet places, and everything in between, Florida has so much to offer.

I feel so blessed to live here, to be able to experience these things that Florida has to offer, and then to share it all with you. When we go and try something, we’re doing it so we can tell you how much we liked it – and what we didn’t – and help you more easily plan your next Florida vacation or getaway.

With so little time these days and only so much money to spend on our vacations, having a little bit of help knowing what’s worth our money, what isn’t and discovering new places can always help.

That’s what we’re here doing – trying to make your vacation easier to plan, give you more ideas, and make the end result even more memorable.

There is so much to Florida – so much I’d bet even life-long residents haven’t experienced it all. But we’re trying to learn, see, experience and share as much as we can…

As I write this we’ve only been living here a little over a year, but we’ve had so many fun adventures. There are so many left to have…

Here are just some of our favorites – from now and past visits – and we’re going to keep adding to all of these 30 Days & 30 Ways lists – so come back often to read new articles, find new photos, watch new video and keep discovering all there is to do in Florida…

These are in no particular order… just places we love…
