Florida – Cruising – Florida – Cruises – Florida – Disney, Carnival, Royal Caribbean… get the point? Florida and taking a cruise are pretty much a pair. As comfy as Abbott & Costello, Lucy & Ethel, Tom & Jerry, William & Kate, Mickey & Minnie, wizard & muggle, Rori Travel & Florida… Florida and taking a cruise are a team for all time.

Ever since the Love Boat of the 1970′s, when celebrities took to the waves and found love – cruise American style – people have wanted to hit the high seas for large amounts of food, all-contained vacations, swimming pools, entertainment and more.

With each passing year, Cruise lines have found bigger and better ways to get passengers into the spirit of being on board a ship. No longer just a place to sit and wait until you hit the next port, a cruise ship itself is as much a part of the vacation activities as the ports people fill in such places as the Caribbean, Alaska, Europe and so many others.

Florida offers cruise opportunities from both sides; both Atlantic and Gulf. Several ports are open to cruising, and a whole industry within travel has been opened to cruising as the main attraction.

Here are just a few ideas to help you get going on planning a cruise vacation and using Florida as your starting point.
