30 Days & 30 Ways to Enjoy Florida; Day 1, The Introduction with Social Media, Blog and other Resources

Welcome to Florida. This Florida Citrus Center is one of the many such locations that welcome visitors to our great state. So grab an orange, sit back, relax and for the next 30 days we'll share 30 ways to enjoy the beauty, excitement, energy, and fun of the Sunshine State. Photo by Rori Paul.
Welcome to RoriTravel’s Florida and our April marathon: 30 Days & 30 Ways to Enjoy Florida. For the 30 days of April we will be sharing some of the fun, exciting, beautiful and interesting ways you can enjoy this really awesome state. If you’ve been to Florida, you likely already know some of these, and if you’re visiting us for the first time, we hope they’ll give you ideas, choices and something wonderful to look forward to – and experience.
Assistant Laura and I are originally from the Chicagoland area, but moved to Florida (by way of 4 years in Arizona) a little over a year ago. Each of us experienced Florida first as tourists ourselves, coming here with our families and now – even after a year – spend every day enjoying her as a “permanent tourist”. Oh sure, we get to know things as locals, and love this state as such. Yet there’s something about seeing, experiencing and enjoying her as a tourist that makes it all so fun and special.
There is so much going on here, so many ways to enjoy the Sunshine State, so many options for every different taste. Whether you’re the laid-back, sit on the beach and read type, the outdoor adventurer, the luxury only version, golfing freak, theme park guru, sporting fan, quiet and peaceful explorer, family oriented, couple or single, Florida has what you’re needing, wanting and looking for.
So join us here every week on RoriTravel’s Florida as we explore and share Florida throughout the year and for April, enjoy as we bring you 30 different ways to enjoy, with a listing of options for each.
We hope you’ll become a good friend as well, so please feel free to share your feedback on the places we’re talking about, now and every week. Don’t forget to share your ideas as well. We’d love to hear the places you like and love about Florida – heck, even the ones you don’t recommend. Come back and visit us often and share the ride… and do tell your friends.
So… to get things started, aside from RorITravel’s Florida, here are a few other sources that can help you experience Florida to the fullest and help you plan your next Florida visit. These are just a few of the friends, tweeps and other bloggers and resources we work with, partner with and enjoy… (watch for more ideas and options in each of our 30 Days & 30 Ways to Enjoy Florida series).
