Cheetah Hunt takes another step forward at Busch Gardens; Roller coaster trains arrive at Tampa Bay theme park

Cheetah Hunt will be part of the new Cheetah Run area at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay. The new stars of the exhibit have arrived - the cheetahs - and now the trains for Cheetah Hunt, the roller coaster. Photo courtesy Busch Gardens Tampa Bay.
How often do you get to watch the progress of a roller coaster being built? Well the folks at Busch Gardens are hoping you’re getting as excited as they are over the up and coming Cheetah Hunt coaster being built as part of their new Cheetah Run area.
So much so they sent over a few images of the trains so you can see…
Five trains were delivered recently, each made up of four, four-passenger cars for a total of 16 riders per train. The front car has a custom designed nose-piece that resembles a cheetah – you know, keeping with the idea that you get to experience the swift movements of the big cats.
More theming and graphics will eventually be applied to the cars to make them really appear cheetah-like.
Busch Gardens will reveal the final product at the end of March. In the mean time, check out these images and get your excitement in gear for the latest fast cat on the block to make its (not so) stealthy appearance on the Florida scene…
Thank you to our good friends at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay for their continued support and for sending over these images. All images are copyright Busch Gardens Tampa Bay.
