Hey, we’ve not yet tried them all, but these are 5 Florida beaches that we love going back to – or can’t wait to get to.
If you’re looking for a great Florida beach experience, chances are all you’ve got to do is get to the coast, get as close to the water as you can, park your car, and head for the sand. Florida is pretty much a perfect-beach kinda place.
Yet these are just 5 we know of if you’re looking and don’t know where to start.
Clearwater Beach
Clearwater, FL
A beautiful place, Clearwater Beach the town is full of places to eat, shop and walk. Hit the Gulf in one of the many boats, or do what you’re here to do – enjoy the beach. Clearwater Beach is truly one of our favorite spots to return to again and again.
Bahia Honda State Park
Florida Keys
I’ve not been here in many years, but from what I hear, it’s as lovely as ever. Just at the southern tip of 7 Mile Bridge, this is a beautiful setting for enjoying the heart of The Keys and what this part of Florida is all about.
Sanibel Island
Sanibel, FL
If you’re into warm waters and shelling we’re told this is one of the best in the state for both. Famous for the shells that wash ashore following storms, be prepared to “stoop” a lot and enjoy a popular stretch of Florida coastline.
South Beach
Miami, FL
You’ve seen it in movies, heard about it from friends & celebs, and perhaps seen image of her – South Beach. As famous for who visits and the cruising as she is her white stretch of sand, South Beach is on our must-visit list.
The Panhandle
From Pensacola to Panama City, FL
Just look at the photos: green-blue water as perfect as a jewel in a crown. We’ve not been into the panhandle to visit their beaches yet, but everything other locals tell us, these are some amazing places to play in the water and experience the unique beauty of Florida.
