With the cameras back in the truck, the lights darkened, and stars like Morgan Freeman & Ashley Judd on their way home, the home of newest Hollywood star, Winter Dolphin has reopened to the public.

Fresh from shooting the story of her life, Winter is ready to welcome guests back into Clearwater Marine Aquarium and share with everyone the story of her life.

For the past several months that story has been the subject of a feature film being shot at CMA. Along with Morgan & Ashley, Harry Connick Jr joins this all-star cast in bringing to life the story of a dolphin who faced the long-shot odds and came out winning.

Along with her fellow CMA residents and a trusted, loving and caring staff, CMA & Winter will welcome you and yours to see not only where they live & play, but where movies were made and where the very important work of helping and saving marine mammals and birds continues.

What’s new
In the wake of movie making, guests can now see new 80 thousand gallon pool, a made-for-the-movie houseboat and a new exhibit, “Shipwreck Underwater Viewing Adventure.”

All regular guest admissions, animal programming, presentations, special event bookings, birthday parties etc. have resumed beginning December 15th. It should be noted that during CMA’s extended close, all animal care and rescue efforts remained active.
